Original writing

Every article on Seoul Sidekick is written from scratch. We do not copy, translate wholesale or republish articles, photos or videos from other publications. Facts themselves are not owned by anyone, so we gather them from several sources, verify them, and explain them in our own words.

Sources and fact-checking

• We prefer primary sources: government and city websites, transit operators, official tourism organizations, venue and event organizers, and reputable news outlets.
• Sources are listed at the end of each article.
• Prices, opening hours and rules change often in Korea. We note when an article was last updated, and we recheck practical guides regularly.

Use of AI tools

We use software tools, including AI, to help research, translate Korean-language sources and draft text. Every article is reviewed and edited before it is published, and we are responsible for what we publish.

Independence

Advertising on this site is shown by Google AdSense and does not influence what we write. We do not accept payment for coverage. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, it will be clearly labeled.

Corrections

If you find an error or something out of date, please contact us with the article address and what should be fixed. We correct errors promptly and mark significant changes in the article.
